Get ready for an epic pahadi adventure with us! Our latest VLog takes you on the incredible Kinnaur Kailash Yatra 2025 – a super challenging but totally dil-khush (heart-pleasing) 18KM trek to the sacred शिवलिंग (Shivling). We're spilling all the beans on how we did it, so you can plan your own Kailash Darshan! ▶️ Our Kinner Kailash Kahani (Story): Our journey kicked off on July 18th in Tangling village, Kinnaur, which is basically the base camp for this holy yatra. We were all set to start our trek that morning, but hey, July ka mausam (July weather) and all that rain played spoilsport. So, the yatra got paused for the day, and we ended up chilling in Tangling. But no worries, we used the time smartly! We got our crucial Medical check done there – super important, guys! We'd already done our Online Registration for July 18th on the official website (https://hpkinnaur.nic.in/event/kinnau..., but getting the medical done at the camp was a good call. Next morning, July 19th, brought the best news ever – Yatra khul gayi (Yatra opened up!)! We were so excited! They started giving out Yatra slips from 6:30 AM, and guess what? They started with the July 18th pilgrims first, which meant us! So, by 7 AM, we were officially on our way, starting the trek towards Ganesh Park. This first leg was about 10 KM, and trust me, it was full of stunning views and a proper challenge. We reached Ganesh Park by 3:30 PM, all tired but thrilled. We crashed there for the night, prepping for the real agnipareeksha! As midnight struck, the most thrilling part of our journey began – an 8 KM trek that was hands down the toughest yet most beautiful trek of our lives. Seriously, the views from up there were something else! From Ganesh Park, it was 3 KM to Ganesh Gufa, then another 3 KM to Parvati Kund, and finally a really tough 2 KM climb to the Kailash top for Shivling Darshan. We made it to the summit around 12:30 PM the next afternoon, completely exhausted but feeling a deep sense of peace and joy after the Kinner Kailash Shivling Darshan. What a moment! After soaking it all in, we started our descent back to Ganesh Park, reaching by 7 PM. One more night's rest, and then it was back to Tangling and finally, home, with memories to cherish forever. 🎒 Your Guide to Kinner Kailash Yatra: Water Supply: There's no water after Ganesh Gufa. So, carry at least two water bottles from Ganesh Park. Food Scene: After Ganesh Park, khana-peena (food and drinks) are not available. So, pack lots of dry fruits, energy bars, biscuits – anything that gives you energy for that tough trek, especially for the night climb. Trek Difficulty & Oxygen: The Kinner Kailash trek is no joke, it gets really tough after Parvati Kund. The climb becomes steeper, and you'll start feeling the oxygen levels going down. So, train well! Carry Torch: From Ganesh Park to the summit, a torch or head torch is an absolute must. Network Status: We found tower signals working even on the top and along most of the trek route. So, you might just get to share your updates live! Best Time to Go: Best time to visit when the trek is open that happens in July to August. Keep checking online news for official dates. Total Journey Time: Plan for at least 3-4 days from Tangling and back. Travel Budget: For the whole yatra experience, expect a Kinnaur Kailash Yatra budget of around ₹7500 per person. The Trek Vibe: The trek is challenging right from the start, and it gets super tough towards the end. But the incredible views and the spiritual high of the holy Darshan make every step worth it. It's truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! ❓ Kinner Kailash FAQs: Q: Kinner Kailash trek kitna difficult hai (How difficult is the Kinner Kailash trek)?
