 Over the weekend I volunteered as a Guardian Angel at the Arc of Attrition, helping support runners and keep the race running safely and smoothly. My role included setting up the start lines, packing down once events were completed, and helping ensure runner safety at the start of the race. I was also stationed at Aid Station 5 at Land’s End from 7:30pm through to 4:30am, meeting and greeting runners as they arrived. My responsibilities there included checking that runners were okay, issuing drop bags, refilling water, and helping with food and supplies during one of the toughest night sections of the course.
