What will Tunisia be like in the Future? A very important question, yet rarely asked. It was Mr. Mansour Moalla that finally highlighted the matter as a TEDxPiloteAriana speaker. Mr. Moalla brought up Tunisia’s History in his talk. He accentuated the fact that as much as a relatively small community changed its situation from bad to worse, it had the power to make the worst of situations better. This Talk is a call for every Tunisian citizen to change for the better: to make an impact on society, to emancipate it from any kind of oppression and utterly to improve it. This is his vision of a future Tunisia, a Tunisia 2.0! Holds a bachelor degree in Literature , a doctorate in law and holds a degree in political science from the”Ecole Nationale d'Administration” , he served as inspector of finance function in France before returning to Tunisia. Founder of the Central Bank of Tunisia ,in which he held the position of CEO. During President Habib Bourguiba , he was successively Minister of Industry and Trade, PTT , Planning, and then the Finance and Planning. He contributes actively during this last period to the creation of the Order of Chartered Accountants of Tunisia in 1983. Aware of the importance of the role played by the private sector finances and the need to strengthen the financial sector to develop the national economy , he decided to found the Arab international Bank of Tunisia ( BIAT ) in 1976, with investors in the Gulf, and runs until 1994. he is also the founder of the Groupe Assurance Tunis (GAT ) . He founded in 1984 the Arab Institute for entrepreneurs. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
