Your helicopter has three standard flight control inputs: the cyclic, the collective, and the pedals. The collective adds pitch in the rotor blades ‘collectively’ allowing you to ascend or descend. The cyclic controls your forward and aft, side to side movements. And the anti-torque pedals are designed to do just that… fight the torque being produced by the main rotor blades so you can fly in a straight line or not spin while you’re in a hover.
