So I decided to revisit Hurricane of the Varstray because I read that there were a ton of updates and stuff, and wow, the game has changed quite a bit. Firstly the game now has a 2nd loop, so now I can 2-ALL it! It's a shame it didn't up the difficulty by much though, but at least the 2nd loop is a ton of fun scoring-wise. They added these mini-boss enemies in each stage and there are these weird items/characters in the background which you unlock by shooting them. Unlocking them gives some extra points. They also added a ton of Steam Achievements (108). My favorite though are the additional challenges they added. They added 3 different Time-Attack modes, a practice mode and also a way to play through the 2nd loop. The 3 Time-Attacks are the 2-Minute one, 5-minute one and the Special Score Attack. Naturally I played all of them and had fun routing them. I stole the #1 spot on Steam for all of them lmao. That video will come right after this one. While I was playing I also took the chance to go through story-mode with each characters. There's so much enjoyable dialogue, oh my god. Also, towards the end I pause once because I was starting to get major lag so I thought my recording had something to do with it, so during the final boss I stopped and started recording again. Then after I cleared I checked my D:/ drive which is my recording drive, and the 1st part of the file was 122GB :o and the 2nd part was 3GB! I literally only had 2,5GB left on my hard-drive when I finished so thank god I cleared just in the nick of time. This run is the #1 score on Steam for this category as of right now.
