Brownie Base Ingredients: ½ cup unsalted butter, melted (115g) 1 cup granulated sugar (200g) 2 large eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (40g) ½ cup all-purpose flour (65g) ¼ tsp salt ¼ tsp baking powder Chocolate Mousse Ingredients: 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream, chilled (350ml) 8 oz semisweet chocolate, finely chopped (225g) 3 tbsp milk (45ml) 2 tbsp powdered sugar (25g) Ganache Topping Ingredients: 4 oz semisweet chocolate, finely chopped (115g) ½ cup heavy cream (120ml) ♥Bake the brownies at 350°F (175°C) in an 8x8 baking pan/dish lined with parchment paper for 20-25 minutes ♥ENJOY! Notes: ♥If you choose to not use parchment paper, be sure to spray your pan/dish to prevent the brownies from sticking. ♥If using parchment paper, leave a slight overhang on the sides of your pan for an easy removal. ♥Make sure the brownies are completely cooled before adding the chocolate mousse mixture. ♥Don’t skip chilling the brownies topped with mousse before adding the ganache…it makes spreading the ganache a million times easier, promise! ♥For clean cuts, make sure to wipe your knife off between each slice.
