65km Autumn Gravel Ride around Aberdeenshire

A Saturday morning gravel ride through the Autumn falling leaves with Jack, starting and finishing in Aberdeen and taking in some of the best gravel paths within a few hours of the city. The route begins by leaving Aberdeen City and heading out West on the Countesswells road before leaving the tarmac behind for some gravel paths. It then connects a plethora of mixed terrain winding singletrack together before ending up in Banchory for a mid-ride coffee, bacon roll and Red Bull at Ride Cafe (highly recommended!) exactly halfway into the distance. The route back into Aberdeen is much faster flowing as it follows the Deeside Way along the river all the way back into town, before exiting off for some final singletrack forest trails. This route is fairly flat with not too many technical spots, although a good level of fitness is recommended.
