"We shot this over 18 hours at Wini McKay's LA circus in Riverside, CA. The treatment for this video was a collaboration between myself and director Jason Fijal. The idea was to play with gender and what it means to just want to be someone's girl. That first moment when you feel a crush coming on, the playfulness. We also wanted to spin a tale and tell a story, like any story worth its weight the ending must be tragic. It was absolutely incredible to watch this all come to fruition. Brigitte Hagerman, our producer and clockword ballerina, was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make this happen. I slept on the Jason and Brigitte's couch a few nights leading up to the shoot and was present for all the fittings, prop building, brainstorming.. you name it. Most of the performers are part of Cirque Berzerk in Los Angeles and had already worked together before, so it really felt like I was stepping into a family affair. This would not have been possible with out the talented cast and crew, and also my label Dangerbird records.This is an experience that I will never forget and I am forever in the debt of these humans for making my crazy dream come true."
