Mauna Loa Volcano Eruption Update; Fissures Open in the Northeast Rift Zone

On November 27th, Mauna Loa erupted for the first time in 38 years. As of day 2 of the eruption, a northeast rift zone eruption began. Lava is now erupting there and fresh material is no longer actively being emitted at the summit caldera. This video will discuss Mauna Loa's ongoing eruption and what might happen next. Mauna Loa is the world's largest active volcano and has a chance of threatening the large town of Hilo.
