Take you to Visit the First and Oldest Tibetan Buddhist Monastery - Samye Monastery

Tashi Delek! Today I will share my day trip to Samye Monastery with you. Samye Monastery is the first and the oldest Tibetan Buddhist monastery built in the 8th century. The main hall of Samye Monastery consists of three styles. The first floor is in Tibetan style, the second floor is in Chinese Style, and the third floor is in Indian Style. Most tourists coming to Samye Monastery just visit the main hall. It is worth visiting, but not all of this sacred monastery. After visiting the main hall, I highly recommend you visit the demon house, as Samye Monastery is said to be built by demons, gods, and humans. On that lucky day, I also saw the monks debating and happened to meet the practice of Tibetan traditional monk dance. So if you visit Samye Monastery, it is suggested to spend some time wandering around the monastery. Also, you can refer to my itinerary. Just start from the main hall, pass the demon house, pass through the Chok chapel, and finally enjoy the panoramic view of Samye Monastery from Hipori Mountain. Hope you will enjoy my video as usual. Thanks for supporting me. Every encouragement and sponsorship from you is the driving force for me to continue to shoot and explore beautiful Tibet. Fund me a cup of tea, a meal, a liter of oil, or a glass of beer, and I will continue to work hard to bring you more exciting videos.
