Milk powder – 1 teaspoon 8. Dates – 100 gm chopped 9. Walnuts – 100 gm chopped Procedure Deseed and cut the date in very small pieces and soak them in boiling water or milk. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees for 25 mins. Whisk one egg with ¼ cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence till it becomes frothy. Now add 1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of milk powder, and the date mixture into the egg mixture. Combine all the ingredients very well. Now add half of the chopped walnuts into the mixture and mix them again. Lather the cake mold with butter, oil, or ghee, and stick a piece of butter paper on the bottom of the mold. Pour the mixture into the mold. Level it up with the help of a spatula or spoon, or whatever you have. Now add the remaining chopped walnuts on top and pop it in the oven for 30 – 35 minutes. Once the timer goes off, check the middle of the cake with a toothpick, a knife, or even a fork.
