In this video, iVue Robotics Founder, Jacob Andrews, heads out to the local bike park to test the Develop Air mini without any "hand holding" from the lead engineer, Gerardo. Jacob's main goal is to successfully calibrate the onboard Hereflow sensor, which hasn't been cooperating during previous flights. Jacob walks through the entire testing process, starting with a standard takeoff and hover in Loiter mode to ensure basic stability. From there, he dives into iVue RoboControl, switches into calibration mode, and performs the calibration "dance"—pitching and rolling the drone to collect sensor data. After struggling with negative FlowCal scalar values (instead of the expected positive 120), he switched the drone into EKF mode to test the positioning, which immediately results in a drift and minor flyaway. 00:00 - Intro: Testing the Hereflow Sensor Solo 00:18 - Takeoff & Loiter Mode Hover Test 01:28 - First Calibration "Dance" Attempt 02:46 - Landing & Second Calibration Flight 03:56 - Analyzing FlowCal Values in iVue RoboControl 05:03 - EKF Mode Test & Unexpected Flyaway 05:30 - Landing & Final Thoughts on Low Light Conditions iVue RoboControl (iVue RC) is available at worldsivue.com.
