For decades, I've felt like many of my Autistic traits were moral failings and personality flaws. I drove myself to learn psychology and philosophy in attempts to "fix" what I perceived as a broken, flawed brain. After spending several days in a state of complete Autistic Shutdown after a vicious rumination cycle, I filmed this video to describe what it felt like and how I realized that this is something I've struggled in silence with my entire life. I hope that this video exposes some of the inner workings of my late diagnosed Autistic brain and that maybe I'm that you are able to find some understanding or even commonality.
