Reading Vision Corrected in Patients of Good Distance Vision: PRESBYOND in Emmetropia Prof Reinstein

Professor Reinstein describes in this short 5 minute technical video the principles of the procedure he developed called PRESBYOND Laser Blended Vision to correct for reading vision in patients with good distance vision - emmetropia. PRESBYOND involves LASIK on the cornea and therefore enables the correction of reading vision without resorting to the more invasive permanent lens replacement or clear lens exchange that is commonly performed with multifocal intraocular lens implantation. PRESBYOND results in better accuracy, less side effects, better safety, adjustability and reversibility either by spectacles or a simple laser enhancement.
