Cleaning the inside of a vintage CD laser Mechanism.(Phillips CDM1MKII) part 1.

Had to make this into 2 videos due to technical issue toward end of video. Warning-you should use a grounding strap when doing this as lasers are sensitive to static. If you do not have grounding strap and are going to do regardless of risks at least touch a nearby earth ground right before contacting laser to reduce chances of damaging. Im not responsible for any damages if you attempt this procedure. Note:some of these lasers have a nut on other side of torx screw which would require taking the laser out to dissemble since getting nut back on would be very challenging with unit put together. Please use a small mirror to see if it has the nut before attempting. Below are a list of CD players that use the CDM1MKII laser mechanism. There may be other models as well. Thanks for watching.
