Yes, I got my save data back. Unfortunately, onion gloves are bad, so that does not do anything for me. For the lair of the father, none of the battles are worth it. The mages give next to no experience and also deal a ridiculous amount of magic damage (even with elemental protection). My recommendation, just grind to lv 99 by fighting yellow dragons in front of the feymarch cave by using sirens. Then run from all of the battles. I decided to maneuver my way through the experience curve to make the grind not take as long (saving money a well), but that is unnecessary and you should get to lv 99 ASAP. Behemoths are not as bad as I thought they would be. Use cry on them and buff cecil with protect. Use defend (or brace if you have it), and the behemoth will attack cecil and cecil will counterattack. The behemoth will essentially kill itself by ramming into an immovable object, and you will eventually win. For bahamut, use spider's silk and cry, use hermes sandals if you want, then attack until he dies. If you are worried about megaflare, then use shell and defend before he luanches it. I managed to kill him before he used megaflare, so it probably wont be much of I problem. I have never actually been hit by bahamut's megaflare in any playthrough ever, so I have absolutely no idea how much damage it will deal. I would assume cecil lives. If he doesn't, then just go all out and kill bahamut before he attacks. The four fiends fight is more annoying then hard. Kill everyone that was revived before the fight, and then buff cecil. I would not recommend physically attacking scarmelion because he counters with cursed elegy and then curses and slows you. However, you are essentially garanteed to get cursed from scarmelion and slow from cagnazzo later, so maybe it doesnt hurt if you physically attack scarmelion. For some reason, scarmelion was resistant to holy instead of weak to it? Makes no sense to me, but what do I know. Cagnazzo is basically the same as in baron castle, except that you are probably cursed from the previous fiend. Make sure to equip the aegis shield to not fall asleep or be paralyzed. Use zeus's wrath if he tries to tsunami. Then physically attack until you win (although it will take forever when he retreats into his shell). Barbariccia is scary. If you dont have the aegis should on now, make sure to put it on to not get durned to stone. She goes into her tornado immediately, so you might only get 1 physical attack until she retreats. I used the stardust that I bought to deal damage to her. If you have a high intellect stat from managing the augements efficiently, each stardust should deal 6k damage and she should not take that long to go down. The main threat is her using maelstrom to reduce you to critical hp, and then killing you with lightning. Make sure to use hermes sandals and to use spider silk (I forgot spider's silk), and be caught by a maelstrom midway through casting stardust. I managed to dodge all of the maelstroms, which I assume is ridiculous luck and should not be a common occurrence. Rubicante is pretty easy afterwards. Change to the ice shield to reduce damage from firaga and inferno. Rubicante will counter with firaga when attacked, so make sure cecil can tank at least a firaga and a physical attack before he strikes Rubicante. Firaga and inferno deal basically the same damage, so infero should not be a big deal. The cpu is a very boring fight. Take out the attack node ASAP because it is actually threatening in this game. When the attack node is dead, nothing interesting happens ever. Use cry, spiders silk, and hermes sandals to save a bunch of time for the next part (I forgot to do this). Now, you get to attack the cpu for 5 minutes as it gets healed over and over again. Yay. Neither of then will attack you as long as the defense node is still alive, so you have nothing to worry about. You should switch to the excalibur to garantee that you dont accidentally kill the defense node on accident. On the cpu is dead, switch to the defender and kil the defense node. Yay, 5 minute boring adventure is over. Before going to the lunar subterrain, get hp +50% from baron and get whatever consumable we might need. It's going to be a long dungeon ahead of us.
