L’incontro tra Sheida Ghomashchi e Saodat Ismailova ha esplorato alcuni aspetti del sincretismo culturale presente nel lavoro dell’artista e nella storia culturale dell’Asia centrale e si è svolto in diretta relazione con alcune delle opere esposte, tra cui in particolare 18,000 Worlds (2023), Chillahona (2022), Arslanbob (2023-in corso). ///// The Public Program of Pirelli HangarBicocca dedicated to the exhibition “A Seed Under Our Tongue” by Saodat Ismailova presented on Thursday December 12 a walk through the exhibition between the artist Saodat Ismailova and independent curator Sheida Ghomashchi. The meeting between Sheida Ghomashchi and Saodat Ismailova explored some aspects of the cultural syncretism present in the artist’s work and in the cultural history of Central Asia and took place in direct relation to some of the works on display, including in particular 18,000 Worlds (2023), Chillahona (2022), Arslanbob (2023-ongoing).
