This is a full, detailed trip report of my recent experience flying with Singapore Airlines (SIA) from Mumbai Changi (BOM) to Sydney Kingsford Smith (SYD) via the world-renowned Singapore Changi Airport (SIN). In this video, we explore the "World's Best Airline" through the lens of a long-haul Economy Class passenger. We aren't in the suites today; we are looking at the real-world experience that millions of travelers face. This journey is particularly interesting because it features two of the most advanced wide-body aircraft in the skies: the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner and the iconic "Queen of the Skies," the Airbus A380-800. THE FIRST LEG: MUMBAI TO SINGAPORE Flight: SQ423 Aircraft: Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner Departure: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM) Arrival: Singapore Changi (SIN) The journey begins at Mumbai’s Terminal 2, an architectural marvel. The Boeing 787-10 is the largest variant of the Dreamliner family, and Singapore Airlines uses it effectively for these medium-haul routes. We’ll look at the 3-3-3 seating configuration, the oversized dimmable windows, and the regional Economy product. How does the Dreamliner's lower cabin altitude affect jet lag on a 5-hour flight? We’ll find out. THE TRANSIT: SINGAPORE CHANGI AIRPORT No trip on SIA is complete without a stop at Changi.
