Active Seychelles with kids 1 week dec 2025 (south Mahé,best beaches, turtles, surfing)

We are visiting the Seychelles during Christmas period in december 2025 as a family with 2 kids -9 and 5 years old. As its already our second time we head directly to the best spots in south of Mahe. We stay in beautiful self catering apartment and rent a car for the whole stay. We will check out the best beaches for swimming with kids such as Port Launay, for snorkeling Anse Soleil and Anse Forban. For jumping in the waves Anse Intendance and have a fantastic experience with first time surfing on Baie Lazare. Of course we cannot miss the most beautiful beach on the island Petit Anse, which is located next to Four Seasons hotel but still fully accessible to public. We spend a rainy day in Eden island and Takamaka rum distillery. We admired the beautiful gardens including historical Jardin du Roi. The best surprise comes at the end, when baby turtles hatch directly on the beach of our accommodation and we have the privilege to accompany them on their first journey to the sea!
