In yet another episode of "I'm a Terrible Pilot" I give you yet another reason why you would not want to watch our channel. I have never been a "checklist" kind of guy. I simply evaluate the needs of a situation and make decisions based on the information I have. When you are flying airplanes a pilot MUST be disciplined enough to reference the checklists needed for the situation. Most often, you'll find at least one thing that you missed. In my case it was a small miss that just required us to shut down and restart. Other times may be something more serious. On our return back trip from Destin Florida we stop at our favorite fuel stop - 79J - Andalusia Alabama. Great guys there who always take care of us. It saved money as well.
