Dr. Malik Hussain Mubashir was a highly acclaimed psychiatrist, academician, research scholar and medical educationist with over 40 years of experience in teaching and practicing psychiatry and over 100 publications in national and international journals to his credit. He has also authored 28 books. Received Companion of Honour, Council of University of Manchester, Queen’s Anniversary Prizes (UK) on 13th October 1999. Sitara-i-Imtiaz Was awarded Sitara-i-Imtiaz in recognition of outstanding research work and achievement in the field of medicine on 14th August 1986. Hilal-e-Imtiaz Hilal-e-Imtiaz has been announced on 14th August 2002. Lieutenant Colonel (Honorary) In recognition of meritorious services in the field of Mental Health, was conferred as Honorary Lieutenant Colonel in Armed Forces of Pakistan on 23rd March 1987. He was also a great mentor & teacher, a healer, a spiritual person has passed through the door between this existence and eternal existence! He remains connected, these bounds does not limit him to reach out to souls on this side of existence ! Dr Mubashir Passed away on 10th August 2020.
