Grand raid / diagonale des fous is the toughest course for an 100 miles ultra marathon I've ever done. The course traverse the Reunion Island off the coast of Africa - with some breath taking mountains and jungles. With 35k ft of elevation gain and highly technical trails, this race is not for the faint of heart! With rain, mud, rocks, and pretty bad chafing and blisters...it's not my best performance to say the least...! 53 hours but I made it, and very proud of it!
