Jowar Dosa Recipe For Weight Loss | Jowar Dosa | Jowar Idli Recipe | How to make Jowar Dosa | vijayas recipes | jowar dosa by vijayas recipes | Jowar Idli by vijayas recipes How to make Jowar Dosa for Weight Loss | Jowar Dosa Recipe |Jowar Idli Recipe INGREDIENTS: Jowar / Sorghum - 2 cups Urad Dal - 1.5 cups Rice - 1 cup Methi Seeds - 1 tbsp Water Poha / Flattened Rice - 1/2 cup Salt - 1 tsp METHOD OF PREPARATION: 1) Wash all the above ingredients and soak them in water for 6 hours. 2) Wash & soak 1/2 cup Poha in water for 30 mins. 3) Add the above ingredients to a mixer jar , add little by little water and grind to a smooth batter. 4) Add 1 tsp salt to the Batter . Cover it and let it ferment for 6 to 8 hours. 5) Our Batter is ready. We can make Jowar Idli or Jowar Dosa with this Batter . TO MAKE JOWAR IDLI : 1) Add 2 cups water to the Idli cooker and let the water boil. 2) Grease the plates of Idli mould with oil . 3) Mix the Batter. Fill each mould with Idli batter. 4) Keep the Idli stand in the Idli cooker . cover it and let it steam for 10 to 15 mins. 5) Remove Idli stand from the cooker. Dip a flat spoon in water and demould / remove the Idlis from the Idli mould. 6) Our Jowar Idlis are ready. Serve with Sambhar & coconut chutney. TO MAKE JOWAR DOSA: 1) Take required quantity of Batter in a bowl. Add 1/2 cup water and adjust the consistency of batter to make dosas. 2) Heat up a dosa pan, sprinkle some water on the dosa pan and wipe the water. 3) Take a laddle full of dosa batter and spread it on the pan . Drizzle 1 tsp oil and let the dosa cook on one side. then flip the dosa and cook on the other side also. 4) Our Jowar Dosa is ready.
