The Quezon City Elevated Landscaped Promenade is a newly completed infrastructure project that officially opened to the public on November 8, 2025. It serves as a dedicated pedestrian and cyclist link over the busy Elliptical Road, bridging two of the city's largest green lungs. Key Features and Connectivity Connecting Hub: It directly links the Quezon Memorial Circle (QMC) to the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center (NAPWC). Eco-Friendly Design: Developed in collaboration with the DENR, the bridge features lush plantings, ambient lighting, and sustainable landscaping, aligning with the city's goal of expanding its "green footprint." Active Transport: The structure includes wide walkways and integrated bike ramps, making it accessible for cyclists without requiring them to dismount. Leisure Amenities: It is designed as more than just a crossing; it includes benches, rest areas, and a sculptural pergola, offering a scenic vantage point for "QCitizens" and tourists. Operational Details Operating Hours: The promenade is generally open daily from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Location: It spans a portion of the Elliptical Road, specifically connecting the North Avenue/Quezon Avenue side of the Circle to the entrance of the Wildlife Center. Integration: The project is part of a broader redevelopment of the area, which includes the ongoing construction of the MRT-7 Quezon Memorial Circle Station and its associated underground and elevated pedestrian networks.
