Authentic Beef Nihari | Slow-cooked Beef Shank Stew | Nihari Masala Recipe بطيئة معد لحم شانك الحساء Beef Nihari is Slow-cooked meat stew usually cooked with Bone Marrow called as Nalli Nihari and mostly loved as Breakfast or Lunch in Sub-continent. Nihari is know for its extremely tender meat texture, silky gravy and aromatic Nihari spices blend. It is even considered as one of the National dish of Pakistan ( Pakistani style Nihari) . Nihari can be cooked with as Chicken Nihari , beef Nihari or Mutton Nihari, but most delicious flavour of Nihari comes with beef meat. In this Nihari recipe meat is slow cooked for 2-3 hour with very delectable Nihari Masala spices in caramelised onions until meat becomes so much tender as it starts falling from the bones then garnished with ginger, chilli and lemon and served with salad and Afghani Naan and tastes amazing with any type of flatbread or tortilla. INGREDIENTS: GRAVY Beef Shank(Bong Meat) Sliced 1/2 Kg (Use Bones for more flavour) OIL 1/2 cup Ghee / Clarified Butter 1 Tbsp Onion 1 Medium (finely chopped) Fry until nice golden color Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp Coriander Powder 1 tbsp Red Chilli / Paprika 1/2 tbsp Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp Salt 2 tsp / to taste Saunth / Ginger Powder 1 tsp Saute for 5 min until meat changes color Add 2 Liters Water and Bring it to boil Now Let it simmer on lowest heat until meat is tender when meat is tender, slow cooked for 2-3 hour Add slurry in nihari for desired thickness 2 tbsp AP flour (meda) + 2 tbsp wheat flour dissolved in water add water enough to make a thin slurry keep on stirring until boil to prevent lumps add Nigella seed/ Kalonji powder 1/2 tsp again simmer for 15 mins NIHARI SPICES Black Pepper 6-8 Cloves 3-4 Green Cardamom 3-4 Black Cardamom 1 big Bay Leave 1 small Cinnamon Stick 1 inch Star Annise Half Nutmeg 1/4th piece Mace small amount (optional) Cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp Fennel seeds 1 1/2 tbsp Dry roast all spices until aromatic then add spices in cheesecloth/ muslin cloth or use herb diffuser , add prepared spices in meat stew and continue to simmer For Garnish fresh Ginger julienne cut Lemon in cut wedges mild Green Chilli sliced chopped Coriander leaves . serve with prepared garnish, salad and Naan bread Please dont Forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE FOODBOOK on Facebook and YouTube for more irresistible recipes Thanks for watching :) YouTube: / @foodbook907 Facebook: / foodbook.dubai nihari recipe, nihari banane ka tarika, nihari masala, nihari masala powder recipe, nihari ki recipe, nihari food fusion, nihari recipe pakistani, nihari chicken recipe, nihari recipe shan masala, nihari ruby ka kitchen
