Insulated Suspended Timber Floor - Garden Office Room Build (Ep 5)

This is the fifth in a series about building my own garden room / office space here in the UK. In this video I show you the completion of the foundations and flooring. First adding the wooden blocks for fixing the insulated floor frame to. We then build the floor frame with 2x6 treated timber. The joists are 400mm o.c - with double joists over all the foundation piers. The suspended joists are supported with joist hangers - all nailed in place. The floor is insulated and taped and finally the plywood is fixed in place. I'm not a professional builder and I am doing this in my spare time alongside a full time job and a family. So it's going to take some time and some of the techniques and methods I might use might not be conventional, but I'm trying to do a good job all the same. I've done a lot of research on and offline - using multiple resources, books and advice from people I know. I hope you find watching my journey through this project helpful and gives you some ideas.
