Want to learn Modular Synthesis? have a look here - https://bit.ly/learnmodular 00:00 - Patch 1: I'm sending the Neoni VCO into the Lyra FX, and I'm using only the wet output, sending it through the Ghost FX module for more delay, reverb, and ducking. I also have modulation coming from the Voltage Block, modulating the feedback and drive amount. Another output of Neoni goes to the Vult Vorg filter. The bass is coming from the Cruinn oscillator going through the Freak filter from Vult. Another voice comes from the STO oscillator going to another Freak filter. Everything is sequenced by the NerdSeq. 02:12 - Patch 2: In this one, I'm using the wet output in a feedback loop with Ghost for filtering. The voice is coming from the STO oscillator sequenced by the NerdSeq. I also have a bass sequenced with the Cruinn oscillator. I added another synth line and pad in Bitwig. 03:53 - Patch 3: I'm sending the Cruinn oscillator into the Microcell FX for some reverb, then to the Lyra FX, from there to the Vorg filter, reverb with the Desmodus Versio, and distortion with Guillotine. I play this voice with the Voltage Block manually. The second voice is coming from Neoni being sequenced by the NerdSeq. I added a bass in Bitwig. 05:24 - Patch 4: Here I'm using the Lyra FX as the sound source by raising the feedback and sending it back into itself through some filtering with Ghost. I'm sequencing its drive and feedback with the Voltage Block, which gives it this rhythm, and I'm sending it to a band pass filter with Freak. I'm also sequencing Freak with two sequences from the Voltage Block so there's movement in the stereo field as well. Another voice is coming from the Neoni oscillator being sequenced by the NerdSeq. It's going through the Vorg filter and I have a looping envelope coming from Cnoc with modulation from the 1U CV recorder. I added a bass in Bitwig. 07:26 - Patch 5: In this one, I'm sequencing the Neoni oscillator with the NerdSeq, and sending in through the Lyra FX. I use both outputs, and I added panning modulation on the wet output so it moves around a bit. The bass is coming from the Cruinn oscillator sequenced also by the NerdSeq. I added strings in Bitwig. In all patches, I use Bitwig for multitrack recording and additional reverb. I'm still not so sure about the LyraFX. I like the fact that its full of character, but it can get quite crazy quite quickly, and it's very hard to fine tune things. I have a feeling that it will crunch up the sound quite a lot even with the drive and feedback all the way down. It's a nice crunch, but it would have been nice to have more control over it.
