Verse (Ayat) Timing: 00:08 [In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.] 00:11 Has the story reached thee of the overwhelming (Event)? [88:1] 00:20 Some faces, that Day, will be humiliated, [88:2] 00:30 Labouring (hard), weary,- [88:3] 00:38 The while they enter the Blazing Fire,- [88:4] 00:46 The while they are given, to drink, of a boiling hot spring, [88:5] 00:55 No food will there be for them but a bitter Dhari' [88:6] 01:08 Which will neither nourish nor satisfy hunger. [88:7] 01:20 (Other) faces that Day will be joyful, [88:8] 01:31 Pleased with their striving,- [88:9] 01:38 In a Garden on high, [88:10] 01:46 Where they shall hear no (word) of vanity: [88:11] 01:56 Therein will be a bubbling spring: [88:12] 02:05 Therein will be Thrones (of dignity), raised on high, [88:13] 02:14 Goblets placed (ready), [88:14] 02:23 And cushions set in rows, [88:15] 02:30 And rich carpets (all) spread out. [88:16] 02:38 Do they not look at the Camels, how they are made?- [88:17] 02:53 And at the Sky, how it is raised high?- [88:18] 03:04 And at the Mountains, how they are fixed firm?- [88:19] 03:13 And at the Earth, how it is spread out? [88:20] 03:22 Therefore do thou give admonition, for thou art one to admonish. [88:21] 03:37 Thou art not one to manage (men's) affairs. [88:22]
