This video has now been re-edited digitally with additional footage and is a better viewing experience: "The Yaraka Branch Line (with Pink Floyd), 2024 Digital Edit" -    • The Yaraka Branch Line (with Pink Floyd), ...   The Blackall / Yaraka branch junctioned from the Central Western Rockhampton to Longreach line at Jericho although the line was serviced from the nearby depot at Alpha. The train was the life blood for the remote communities and homesteads along the way, just as was all such branch line trains elsewhere, in times past. Passengers were able to travel on the train up until 2001 and by 2005 it was all gone. It may have been the last example of its type in the country. Hope you enjoy Pink Floyd :-) Again, another old VHS to VHS edit done years ago.
