Sophomore teammates Lillee Maine, a goalkeeper, and midfielder Madison Bradbury helped No. 4 Oaks Christian School in California earn a 1-1 girls soccer tie at top-seeded Santa Margarita Catholic High of California in the second leg of the home-and-home semifinal series in the CIF-Southern Section Open Division playoffs. Bradbury scored in the 46th minute, with Maine recording seven saves for visiting Oaks Christian, which suffered a 1-0 setback Feb. 18 at home in the first leg of the semifinal series. The Lions remained winless in six playoff showdowns against Santa Margarita, which advanced to its fourth consecutive section final, the past three years in the Open Division.
