This show of Masala Mornings with Chef Shireen Anwar aired on 22 November 2021. #MasalaTV #Food #MasalaRecipes #Recipe #EveningWithShireen #ShireenAnwar#Dawat #AbidaBaloch #Lazzat #SaminaJalil #FlameOnHai #IrfanWasti #Tarka #RidaAftab #MehboobsKitchen #MehboobKhan #FoodDiaries #ZarnakSidhwa #Breakfast #Dinner #Lunch #Chef #Cooking#Baking #Eating #KarachiFood #FastFood #DesiFood BURRITO INDIANA Ingredients for Chicken Boneless chicken ½ kg Lemon juice 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste 1 tbsp Yogurt 3 tbsp Salt 1 tsp Green chilies (grinded) 4 Coriander leaves (grinded) 2 tbsp Mint leaves (grinded) 1tbsp Readymade tortillas 1 packet Mozzarella cheese (grated) 1 cup Butter 2 tbsp Coal to smoke Ingredients for Salad Cabbage chopped 1 cup Cucumber chopped 1 cup Tomato (cut in cubes and seeds removed) 1 Lemon juice 2 tbsp Chat masala ½ tsp Salt & pepper ½ tsp each Ingredients for Sauce Yogurt ¼ cup Mayonnaise ½ cup Chopped onion 2 tbsp Chopped green chilies 2 Chat masala ½ tsp heaped Cream cheese 2 tbsp METHOD FOR CHICKEN Marinate chicken with lemon juice, ginger garlic, yogurt, green masala grinded for 30 mins, cook in 2 tbsp oil and butter, and give dum of coal. METHOD FOR SALAD Mix all the veggies in a bowl and mix with lemon juice, chat masala, salt & black pepper, keep aside. METHOD FOR SAUCE Grind together yogurt, mayonnaise, cream cheese, chopped onion, chopped coriander, green chilies, salt and chat masala, grind for just 30 seconds and your sauce is ready. TO ASSEMBLE Spread tortilla, put salad in center followed by chicken, grated mozzarella, then sauce, first slightly fold from the sides, roll it tightly, grill it in a pan or griller with little butter, serve hot with some ketchup. CRISPY SPINACH CHICKEN Ingredients Boneless chicken strips ½ kg White pepper ½ tsp Black pepper 1 tsp Garlic paste 1 tbsp Vinegar 2 tbsp Chili sauce 2 tbsp Flour 3 tbsp Corn flour 2 tbsp Egg 1 Kashmiri red chilies 4-5 Ketchup ½ cup Soy sauce 1 tbsp Sugar 1 tbsp Orange red color a pinch Cashew nuts 12-15 Chopped garlic 1 tbsp Chopped ginger 1 tbsp Onion (sliced) 1 Capsicum (sliced) 1 Spinach 2 cups Caster sugar 1 tbsp Sesame seeds (roasted) 1 tbsp Green chilies 4 julienne Spring onion leaves for garnishing Butter 2 ounce Salt to taste METHOD Marinate chicken julienne with salt, black pepper, white pepper, garlic paste, vinegar, chili sauce, flour, corn flour and egg for 30 mins, then deep fry till done, keep aside. Grind together soaked kashmiri red chilies with ½ cup ketchup, vinegar, soya sauce, chili sauce, sugar, salt, color and black pepper ½ tsp. Heat oil and butter in a wok, add coarsely broken cashews, fry till light golden, add 2 kashmiri red chilies chopped to pieces, chopped garlic, chopped ginger, green chilies cut into julienne, fry for 1 min, add sliced capsicum and onion, fry for min, add the red paste, cook for 2 mins, add fried chicken, cook till it’s well coated in the sauce. Lastly add chopped coriander and spring onion leaves. METHOD FOR SPINACH Chop spinach very finely, toss with 2 tbsp corn flour and deep fry in small batches till crisp, remove the crispy spinach in a big bowl and mix with 2 tsp caster sugar, 1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds and little salt, add chicken to the platter and top with crispy spinach, serve hot. CHOCOLATE DELGONA COFFEE Ingredients to Make Two Glasses Instant coffee 4 tbsp Sugar 5 tbsp Milk 2 cups Cocoa powder 1 tbsp Whipped cream 1 cup Hot water 4 tbsp Grated chocolate for topping METHOD Take 4 tbsp coffee, 4 tbsp sugar and 4 tbsp hot water, whisk little, beat with electric beater till it forms stiff peaks. METHOD FOR HOT COFFEE Heat 2 cups milk, mix 1 tbsp sugar, add 1 tbsp cocoa powder, bring to a boil, fill in 2 cups, put a dollop of coffee form on top, garnish with whipped cream and sprinkle some grated chocolate over coffee, serve hot.
