Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be talking about the etrailer hard fold up Tonneau cover on the back of your 2026 Chevrolet Colorado. Now, this can be a great option if you're looking for something that's gonna look pretty slick back here, and it's gonna offer you extra protection from the elements and anyone who would come by and try to take you stuff. So let's take a closer look at it. Now we have a bunch of different Tonneau covers here at etrailer, but make sure you are putting in your vehicle's information into our fit guide to make sure you're getting the right one to fit your truck. Now with that being said, what I like about a hard Tonneau cover is it does give you the extra security so no one can come by, cut in here, and it is gonna look fairly nice back here too. And hard Tonneau covers, this one is actually pretty easy to use. What we have to do is grab onto one of these yellow cables. You're gonna have one on either side. You'll usually hear one click, (loud clicking) pull down again, you're hear a second one, then you can flip it. Now we'll say you are gonna have one of these for each section of this. So there are some pros and cons with that. Con is it does take a little bit longer to fold out, not too much longer, but this does give you a much better secure point to your actual Tonneau cover or your bed rails. Then you come back to that other side and clip it in here. Now with different types of fold up Tonneau covers, some of them will sit just like this one, which will take up a little bit of your bed space or fold up. But the fold up options that downside to that is it does block your back window. Now we'll say we are losing a little bit of bed space here, but what's really nice about this design is the design's gonna be some hand knobs underneath here. So it's actually really easy to take this off if we ever need to. Now on the topic of how much space is gonna be taken up, let me just get a measurement of that real quick. So go into the back of your bed. This is gonna be around 16 1/2 inches. So that is a fair bit of room. But again, to takeoff just the Tonneau cover, not the rails, it's just gonna be two hand knobs underneath there. Now for the total height it sits up in this position, that's gonna be about four inches. So that's still gonna be beneath your headrest so you'll barely notice it. Now when you have it fully folded out, that's gonna be around one inch, so not too high off the back of your bed. Now for the space we have underneath here, that's gonna be about 21 inches. So if you're putting in any totes, tools, anything of that nature, as long as it sits beneath that, you'll be fine, and it won't interact with this. Now let's talk a little bit more about the bed rails. And what's nice about 'em is they're fairly slim and compact so they don't sit up very high, and they don't go too far in the inside of your bed. And what's more is they're not gonna be a permanent installation. So there'll just be clamp on so you know, modifications for your bed needed. And with this one, this one will utilize your stake pocket, which I find typically when they do they give you a better hole, and just a better experience overall. And on the outer edges, there's gonna be some weather stripping there so prevent water from seeping through. Also with that we'll have some on the back near to your cab and some near to your tailgate as well. I will say there is gonna be no Tonneau cover out there that's gonna be 100% waterproof, but this one will do a good job. But that's pretty much it. Now if you guys do decide to go with this, let us know what you think of it in either a comment or review and definitely snag a picture of it so we can see how it looks in the back of your bed. Now if this one isn't really up to your speed or you're looking for more of a soft style, but you like a lot of the touch points of this, one I would recommend is gonna be the etrailer soft roll-up one. That one's also gonna be more affordable. It'll be great at still keeping the elements out from your bed. But this one will give you the extra security if you do have anything important or precious back here too. Now when it comes to the installation, I would ask for say it's much easier than a lot of other hard Tonneau covers out there, but we do talk about some t
