Frédéric Verheyden, together with his wife Mookda Mairue Verheyden, will show you how to make beef stew with Belgian Trappist beer. Ingredients for beef stew with Belgian beer: 1. 1,5 kg chuck roast, cut into 2-inch cubes 2. 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour 3. 1 teaspoon salt 4. ½ teaspoon ground black pepper 5. 4 tablespoons olive oil 6. 2 tablespoon mustard 7. 2 slice spices bread or brown bread 8. 4 medium sliced yellow onions 9. 2 cloves garlic, crushed and chopped 10. 2 tablespoon brown sugar 11. 2 teaspoons dried parsley 12. 2 bay leaf 13. ¼ teaspoon dried thyme 14. 750 ml. Belgian dark beer 15. ¼ cup-1 cup beef stock The “Taste of Europe” is presented by the European Economic and Trade Office together with the EU Member States offices in Taiwan.
