SOUNDBITE (Arabic) Abdul Hafiz Ghoga, Deputy leader of Libya's National Transitional Council: "The indications are that Gadhafi is no longer in control of anything in Libya and is no longer present in Tripoli. He is hiding and fighting with what is remaining of his military tools. He is striking here and there in a desparate manner and if our rebels proceed towards the capital Tripoli, with the help of our people in Tripoli and other areas, the matter will be terminated in a few days and we can get out of this crisis." 13. The officials, including US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, hope to boost support for the Libyan opposition, which has been seeking broad international recognition and financial support with mixed results. Clinton and her aides also held a meeting with Abu Dhabi's Crown Prince Sheik Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the Emirates Palace Hotel. Abu Dhabi is hosting the third Contact Group Meeting on Libya - the latest opportunity to assess the situation in Libya and to provide the necessary impulses in order to support Libya's transition to democracy and to reach long-term stability in the country. Abdul Hafiz Ghoga, the deputy leader of Libya's National Transitional Council, told AP Television that they would discuss "economic issues and the facilitation of financial matters for Libyans to benefit from it in the next stage, because our stability and exit from the current crisis are connected to our financial needs." Although Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi has defied intensified diplomatic, economic and military pressure to step down, Ghoga said there are signs his control is diminishing. "He is striking here and there in a desparate manner and if our rebels proceed towards the capital Tripoli, with the help of our people in Tripoli and other areas, the matter will be terminated in a few days and we can get out of this crisis," Ghoga said.
