Workshop: Music, community and environment. University of Leeds, England 2022.

The music, community and environment workshop was part of the dissemination strategy of Changing The Story project, led by the University of Leeds. It is the result of an interdisciplinary, collaborative, methodological exploration working with at-risk young groups in Colombia. Experimenting with music and arts-based tools, the workshop was implemented through playful and participatory methodologies. Music, dance, and the construction of instruments with recycled materials were used to promote collaborative work actions and intercultural scenarios among diverse academic participants, as a strategy of inclusion and promotion of peace practices and environmental awareness. The workshops encouraged collectivism and reflections on the importance of implementing inclusive behaviours and recognising diversity as a fundamental practice for peacebuilding.
