🔥 Elevate your coffee game with the perfect Flat White on the Lelit Bianca! Learn the Basic (LVL 1) method, perfect for beginners. Real-time, no-cut, follow-along tutorial. (See more 👇) ☕ About the Recipe: The Flat White is a creamy and smooth espresso drink with Australian and New Zealand origins. It combines a rich double espresso with velvety microfoam milk, offering a slightly milkier texture than a Cortado while preserving the coffee's robust flavor. The Flat White is perfect for those who enjoy a balance between coffee and milk. This is our Basic (LVL 1) version, focusing on using the Lelit Bianca and the Lelit William with minimal extra tools. ☕ Ingredients: Coffee beans: 16-18 grams Milk: 150 grams ⚙️ Tools: Lelit Bianca Espresso Machine Lelit William Grinder Small pitcher (350 ml / 12 oz) Serving cup (200 ml / 8 oz) 👇 Instructions (Play the video and follow along in real-time): 1️⃣ Espresso Time Grind the coffee: Grind 16-18 grams of coffee to fill a double basket. You can eyeball it, time it, or weigh it. Distribute: Level the grounds in the portafilter basket with a few horizontal taps. Tamp: Tamp twice with medium pressure, making sure it's nice and even. Brush: Remove any loose grounds from the portafilter edges. Extract: Gently insert the portafilter into the group head, start the extraction, and stop at 30-40 grams (about 25-35 seconds). Use a timer, your machine's settings, or a scale to get it just right. 2️⃣ Steam the Milk Pour Milk: Pour 150 grams of milk into your pitcher. Steam: Heat the milk to around 60°C (140°F) – don't overheat it! Aim for a velvety microfoam texture with a glossy finish. Clean: Give the steam wand a quick wipe and a burst to clear out any milk. 3️⃣ Combine & Enjoy Pour: Slowly pour the steamed milk over the espresso in your serving cup. The goal is to create a smooth, creamy blend with a thin layer of microfoam on top. 4️⃣ Clean Up Knock out the used coffee grounds. Rinse the group head and wipe it clean. 👉 Did you try this recipe?
