Emma, Maeve, Meagan, Emily of the CommonWealth Dance Collective bring history to life in this performance of the traditional Irish step dance The Priest and His Boots at the Michigan Celtic Festival 2024. The Priest and His Boots is one of the few surviving traditional Irish jigs and provides a rare glimpse at authentic Irish culture and heritage. This step dance was collected from James Keane and Clare dancing master Dan Furey and further preserved by Michael and Céline Tubridy.
