The Virginia Creeper Trail is a popular outdoor destination for visitors who are looking for a biking adventure. It's best known for the 17-mile downhill ride from Whitetop Mountain to Damascus but the entire length is 34-miles and winds it way through the mountains and valleys of Southwest Virginia. We made the trip in August 2021 and it was a great day of casual riding on the downhill to Damascus while taking in the scenic splendor along the way. The second half was a fairly good workout and wonderful ride from Damascus to Abingdon. See the scene selection below or enjoy the entire video!
