A Historical Journey to the Megalithic Temples, the Catacombs of Rabat and the City of Mdina (Malta)

In this episode, we focus on exploring some of Malta’s most famous landmarks from antiquity. Malta’s rich history can be traced back to thousands of years, and the islands still to this day retain some of Europe’s most oldest and well preserved megalithic temples, such as those of Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra. It has also maintained many landmarks of Malta’s ancient through to medieval past, such as the St. Paul’s Catacombs and Grotto in the town of Rabat, and the walled city of Mdina, which once served as the island’s capital up until the middle ages.
