History and Background Information: Passo Falzarego is one of three (Falzarego, Giau, Tre Croci) passes starting from famous skiing village Cortina d'Ampezzo. In comparison to its neighbour the Passo Giau Falzarego has a lot worse road condition, less views and the layout is less fun. On the other hand traffic here is lower and there are more options to continue your journey. At the top of the pass starts the Passo Valparola. On the Western End you can continue to the Sella Ronda, the Lago di Alleghe or back to the Passo Giau via the Colle Santa Lucia. Quite spectacular is the view on the gallery just west of the Passo Falzarego. Else than that the view is mostly ruined by the forest or bad weather.
