I'm excited to share my process for machine quilting this adorable bunny quilt. My client Sandra commissioned me to quilt this fun piece, and it truly brought me joy. Something about whimsical designs like this lifts my spirits. In today's video, I will demonstrate my technique for quilting the border. The design takes inspiration from ribbon candy for a playful finished look. I'll also provide tips for using my blue Mark-B-Gone to prepare the quilt for stitching. I'll be working on my Gammill 22-inch machine. I have the stitch regulator engaged and the length set to 13 stitches per inch. For top threading, I'm using Superior's So Fine! thread in color 403. It beautifully complements the off-white fabric. In the bobbin, I have the new pre-wound Superior Super Bob thread in color #624. Both threads run smoothly on my machine. You'll get a sneak peek of the full bunny quilt design in today's video. For an exclusive look at my quilting process from start to finish, check out my PNQ Academy online library at www.piecenquilt.com With over 130 machine quilting tutorials and growing, it's like shadowing me in my studio. I can't wait to share my passion and help you grow your skills. I'm eager to get started on this fun project. Thanks for watching and happy quilting!
