The Metaparks Devs agreed to chat with me and show off their new game! A new Theme Park Game for 2025 has just been announced and it might rival Planet Coaster. METAPARKS is a game being developed by members of the Planet Coaster community. But, important to note that like Cities Skylines wasn't a Sim City copy - it was just another city building game; MetaParks isn't a Planet Coaster copy either - it's just another theme park building game. The difference here is that there is a focus on the realistic creative and management side, promising a wealth of features including much requested MMO and RPG. It is at a proof-of-concept stage right now, being built in Unreal - meaning that there is enough of something to announce it to see if there's enough hunger to continue with it.
