Step inside a multi-level Baguio home perched on a slope and surrounded by pine trees

The Winged House designed by BrioArc Design Studio has an unassuming facade from the cul-de-sac and appears to be a mere bungalow. The topography allowed the home to extend downwards with a multi-level structure. Existing, mature pine trees surround the home, while the pine trees that were felled were used to clad the bedrooms. The living area has a soaring ceiling with a well-proportioned Jinggoy Buensuceso wall art in a pop of yellow. Bridges connect one volume to another while a central elevator connects the levels. Although the home is filled with many local designer furniture and artwork, the owner's favorite happens to be one by an Igorot artist named Jordan Mang-osan who uses the power of the sun to make his artwork. The owner champions local furniture from Ito Kish, Kenneth Cobonpue and Vito Selma among others.
