INUA KIKE's Father–Daughter Community and Intergenerational Dialogue.

On 17th January 2026, INUA KIKE convened 100 male parents and caregivers alongside their 100 daughters enrolled in the She Rises Beyond Violence Project in Korogocho, creating a powerful space for father–daughter community and intergenerational dialogue. Through guided conversations grounded in respect, active listening, and mutual understanding, fathers and daughters reflected on protection, care, communication, and shared responsibility in preventing sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) at the household level. This dialogue reinforced the critical role of engaged and supportive parenting in building safe homes and resilient communities for girls and young women. It is one of several key engagements advancing our commitment to empowering marginalized women and girls in Korogocho to recognize, resist, and stand up against violence, while strengthening families and fostering more aware, protective, and supportive communities. When fathers listen, daughters feel safer.
