As someone who's worn every model to date, it low-key makes me feel old. After the polarizing Nike Metcon 9, I — like many others — have been anxiously awaiting the release of the Metcon 10. Would they deliver the classic Metcon fit that most of us fell in love with or would they stay the course on their over-engineered path (7, 8, and 9). It's nostalgic with its fit and it's more versatile than the last few Metcons. I also think CrossFitters will have an easier time getting behind this model, and it will also resonate with the lifters and athletes who love that classic Nike trainer fit. In my opinion, it's not a foolproof shoe and I still have some gripes with it, but compared to the 9 — it's a far better shoe and an actual contender with the top dogs once again.
