https://theiss.care Why are push-ups good for you? Push-ups are like squats for your legs. They're just an overall great movement. They show you where you're at real, real quick. Right? So they separate fantasy from reality. If you can get yourself to do 25, 50 push-ups, that's a really good place to be. I think I stated earlier, I was very strong as a child, and at one time I could do a thousand push-ups nonstop. It took me 20 to 25 minutes, and these were real clean push-ups. I used to be able to do about 250 arm push-ups on each side, but I was bench pressing 405 pounds on a daily basis. Again, push-ups really tell you where you're at. People today are doing push-ups ... look it up ... they're into the thousands. It's unbelievable. It shows you the potential. But these people doing a thousand push-ups, you would never know, because they're very clean and they're very specific to the basis of overall health. They utilize a push-up as a means of building that overall upper body strength, power and endurance. Plus your cardiovascular system tremendously through push-ups, upper body circulation is intense from a push-up. That's why they're so wonderful to do. Over the 25,000 clients that I've worked with around the globe, one of the key things I still do today with them are push-ups. Ask them. Again, push-ups are squats for your upper body, and they're just a great way of tying in your overall fitness and your overall health.
