This is a playthrough using CPU/Boss Kazuya in the PS1 version of Tekken 2. Read on below for more information... CPU Kazuya is the penultimate boss in the game. He is an unplayable character. ===== ABOUT CPU KAZUYA ===== Not many people know this, but in this game there are 2 versions of Kazuya, both being programmed into the game as separate characters. The 1st version of him is the player version, in which the player can unlock and select, and has three costumes (karate trousers; white shirt/blue jeans; purple suit). The 2nd version of him is the CPU version, which cannot be unlocked and is unplayable. This version only has the purple suit costume, and only appears as a CPU boss character in Arcade Mode. ===== ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ===== ---- When you complete the game with him in 1-player Arcade Mode, he doesn't show up on the usage statistics screen. ---- He only has the purple suit costume/palette. ---- His command list is the same as player Kazuya's. ---- If you play through 1-player Arcade Mode with him, he will actually face CPU Kazuya on Stage 9. This is unlike the player version Kazuya where he would face Heihachi on Stage 9 instead. This also means that CPU Kazuya can fight Heihachi as a normal opponent during the route. ---- He and regular Kazuya are the only characters in the game to fight their personal sub-bosses (Roger) on Stage 8 without the "personal boss" BGM theme. ---- Gameplay-wise he seems to be identical to the normal player version of Kazuya. ---- His Stage 8 personal boss is Roger. ---- He has the same ending sequence as player Kazuya. ===== ABOUT PS1 TEKKEN 2 ===== This is one of the best fighting games on the PS1, and it is better than the arcade version due to it being graphically identical (standard-wise) and featuring tons more features, including an Arranged soundtrack. The game is based on Version B of the arcade game, with the initial difference of all the sub-bosses and bosses needing to be unlocked. If you are of the PS1/Saturn/PS2/Dreamcast/etc. eras, you'll know that unlocking characters in fighting games are part of the fun.
