We are proud to introduce the six boards we've chosen for the 26/27 season at Alpenglow Sports. These boards allow us to execute a new philosophy that helps us meet any rider where they are at and have an option for every rider. There are three fundamental splitboard shapes that exemplify splitboarding in 2027. We now have two offerings in each shape so that we can match any riders budget and desired experience. The "Camber Crusher" is a new generation of camber boards from Jones Snowboards that ride better than expected. Our ultralight option is the Ultralight Butterfly and the Jones Howler Split is my number 1 recommendation this season. "Freeride Versatility" is exemplified by a big-mountain shapes with daily-driver durability and versatility. Our expert board is the United Shapes Covert and our softer shape is the Jones Frontier 2.0 and Dream Weaver 2.0. The "Soft Snow Shapes" are quiver boards that excel in deep powder. The United Shapes Deep Reach S won our hearts for it's powder performance and heavyweight versatility. The Ultralight Hovercraft 2.0 is the best soft snow shape you can buy because of it's feather-weight construction which complements a powder board very well. These boards were not chosen based on incentives or after a fancy industry demo event. Rather, each was ridden in the backcountry by our splitboard buyer, Max, who assed them on their merits.
