We went on an epic rock-hounding adventure in North Carolina. This state is great for any crystal collector. The Mason Mountain Mine is located near Franklin in a very scenic part of the state. There you can find your own Ruby, Sapphire, Rhodolite Garnet, Kyanite and more! This location is open to the public.
