The folks at OEDRO Auto Parts sent me a new bumper to install and review for my 1997 Jeep TJ. You can buy this bumper at this link: https://bit.ly/33qHXhp Use code "rearbumper10" (no quotes) between February 14 and March 14, 2022, for 10% off the purchase of this bumper. This bumper is really nice, includes a built-in hitch receiver, and also includes 2 bright LED lights you can wire however you’d like. I really like the new, improved look of our TJ with this bumper installed. The only downside is that you have to remove your old bumper. For me, that was several hours of challenge due to a broken bolt. But once you get the old bumper off, installing this new one is a really easy process. I definitely like the look and simplicity of this bumper and highly recommend it. I learned this the hard way – the bolts that go up through the bottom of the bumper and into the frame are M10x1.50 in size. If you want to chase the threads in the nuts tacked onto the frame, use a M10x1.50 tap. Don’t make my mistake and tap one of them to M12 size! It's the SE version of a TJ with a 2.5L four cylinder and a standard transmission. At the time of making this video, the Jeep had ~207,700 miles on it. I hope you enjoy!
